Groundbreaking celebration

We went on a charity ride to The Flying Horse Farms.Flying Horse Farm is part of Paul Newmans Hole in the Wall charitys. We rode out to the property where the farm will be built. They had a groundbreaking cerimony with local celebrities. Below are a couple of links to more pics and a great slideshow that shows event pictures, and how the property will look when finished. http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a377/Imwenchie/VTX%20Events/Flying%20Horse/ *************************** Link for a slideshow: http://s650.photobucket.com/albums/uu228/gregbowe/xriders%20at%20Flying%20Horse%20Farms/?albumview=slideshow

The "Darkside"

New Tire.
I bought a new tire for my bike today. It is a Michelin Hydroedge 205/65-16. Yes it is a car tire. That is what is called the darkside. (a car tire on a motorcycle) Now you may say"but thats crazy!" well... isn't riding a motorcycle a little crazy anyway ? I have been following the CT v.s. MT debate for a while now and have decided to check it out. Besides the fact that a car tire is less expensive, it will last 4 times as long. I bought a MC tire for over $200.00 last spring and only got about 8000 miles out of it. The CT cost me $140.00 and is a 50.000 mile warrenty. A CT also has twice as much contact with the road for better stopping power. Here's a pic of the tire. http://mcdarksiders.forumotion.com/forum.htm
