The "Darkside"

New Tire.
I bought a new tire for my bike today. It is a Michelin Hydroedge 205/65-16. Yes it is a car tire. That is what is called the darkside. (a car tire on a motorcycle) Now you may say"but thats crazy!" well... isn't riding a motorcycle a little crazy anyway ? I have been following the CT v.s. MT debate for a while now and have decided to check it out. Besides the fact that a car tire is less expensive, it will last 4 times as long. I bought a MC tire for over $200.00 last spring and only got about 8000 miles out of it. The CT cost me $140.00 and is a 50.000 mile warrenty. A CT also has twice as much contact with the road for better stopping power. Here's a pic of the tire. http://mcdarksiders.forumotion.com/forum.htm

I removed my Harley light bar from my bike and installed a couple of smaller lights mounted to a 3" headlight extension that I made.
*********************** I painted my motorcycle motor this winter. It really makes the chrome stand out. I took the tank badges and radiator reflectors off also. Here is a link to the write up I did on this modification.
